TALK #1

INTO THE PAIN

The work in different vulnerable communities confronted Rahel Lam repeatedly with facing pain and deep suffering. Often she felt helpless, unable to go on and facing the situation. The question of, what is the answer towards pain has been moving her in the last years.

In this Talk Rahel Lam outlines stories from three different woman whom she met during their work in India, who have shaped her life and changed her perspective through their suffering stories and gave deep insights into pain.

TALK #2

PAINTING WALLS IN COMMUNITIES

We will share about our passion for doing visual arts in public, through our community art projects in India, Hong Kong and Philippines in the last few years which provided us with a deeper understanding of the world’s poverty and extreme living conditions and showed how we as artists can bring waves of impact to the surroundings.
