WALL 4 IRAN

A COMMUNITY WALL PROJECT, NOV 2025 - Wailing Wall Series.
Graffland Zürich, Orion-Strasse 165, 8152 Opfikon (Switzerland)

“BRIGHT”

Bright and radiant;
The name of women who forge light out of pain
and turn darkness into pain.

Together with Iranian artist Sara Shoghi and our mural artist Thomas Kubig we created this wall to give the Iranian people a space to express their pain and share what they have been through. Some came to paint on the wall by themselves, while others sent in submissions that we painted for them. This #wailingwall holds the pain, the grief, the hope for iranian people and the message of YOU’RE NOT FORGOTTEN!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the chance to create this mural on behalf of Iranian artists. It means so much, not only to me, but to many grieving families and to people in Iran who see in it a reminder that we have not forgotten. On a personal level, this project has meant more than I can put into words. After years filled with challenges, heaviness, and moments of deep sadness, being able to bring this message to life has helped heal parts of me I thought would always remain broken.
